o send a flier & brief CV to local practices
o follow it up with a ‘phone call to the practice managers
Assistantships, retainerships & partnerships
o BMJ adverts
o word of mouth, particularly if you’re on the locum circuit
o local Postgraduate Centre Managers usually know what’s going on
