Be aware of different cultural norms. Know where to access information about those norms. Feel confident in a consultation with a patient from a different cultural background. Be aware of availability of services (interpreter) to help communication with a patient who does not speak English/your language. Provide an equitable service whatever the patient’s cultural background. |
