What went well?

All of it was enjoyed by somebody.....
Dermatology: useful reminder of childhood rashes, lots of good pictures.
Soapbox- dealing with uncertainty
Paper- salt and CVS disease.
News.
Afternoon discussion- appraisal and revalidation.

What did not go well?

Dermatology- no mention of malignancy,
                       more focus on management and referral would have
been good.
                       not enough bread and butter dermatology.
                       maybe presentation could have been structured
around different types of rash.
                       a lot of information  in a relatively short time.
Afternoon- confusion over topics.
Cold room too much air conditioning.

Main things learnt.

Dealing with uncertainty
Appraisal adn revalidation toolkit.
Discoid lupus
childhood rashes
variation in presentation of same disease.
spotting rare derm conditions
how to manage verrucas effectively.

What do we want more of?

Respiratory medicine,
QuOF
applying for jobs
finance
examination of limb joints
ophthalmology
palliative care
obstetrics
